Why should I use a HETAS competent person? – All those registered with HETAS have to have passed an exam and have enough experience to be able to provide a service to a certain standard. HETAS
engineers must also have third party insurance. HETAS conduct inspections
of work carried out to ensure that it not only complies but is also
of a good quality and the service provided has been satisfactory.
Any complaints can therefore be directed at HETAS who can follow
them up. Using HETAS removes any need for the homeowner to approach
their council as the installation engineer does all of this as part
of the job, thereby ensuring all building regulations are complied
